The Non-Surgical Penis Enlargement Approach

  • Instant results with less downtime (patients can resume sexual intercourse after 14 days)
  • A less expensive option than surgery, and considerably less invasive
  • Increase flaccid and erect thickness (girth) at the same time
  • Dermal filler selected for maximum aesthetic and functional result
  • Safer and reversible, if necessary, using dissolving enzyme

Penis Lengthening Surgery Limitations

Source: NHS

The most common technique involves cutting the ligament that attaches the penis to the pubic bone and performing a skin graft at the base of the penis to allow for the extra length. Professor Wylie says the surgery can result in an average gain in length to the flaccid penis of 2cm, but there will be no change to the size of the erect penis.

Furthermore, the erect penis won’t point as high as before the operation because the ligament which was cut no longer offers support.

“A lot of men who have this treatment don’t truly appreciate this loss of angle,” says Professor Wylie. “It can make sex quite uncomfortable. You’ve got to do a lot more manoeuvring with your partner. The advantage of a 2cm gain in flaccid length is far outweighed by the loss of angle of erection.”  UK NHS 2015

“Some surgical techniques to increase penis girth involve injecting fat taken from another part of the body into the penis. Some studies have reported increases in circumference of 1.4-4cm.

However, studies that followed men up over a longer time suggest disappointing results, with complications including disfigurement, scarring, lumpiness and infection. Another method, still in its experimental stage, involves pulling back the skin of the penis to wrap a tube-like biodegradable frame filled with tissue cells around the shaft.

Professor Wylie says the use of biodegradable frames has had better results than fat injection. “The problem with injecting fat is that over time, the body will re-absorb the fat which can result in a return to the penis’ original size,” he says.”  UK NHS 20/04/2015

Surgery to increase penis girth

“Surgery to increase the girth of the penis can involve injecting fat taken from elsewhere in the body into the penis.

There’s a risk that the penis may look uneven or lumpy, and there may be scarring. The injected fat can also disappear over time.

Very little evidence has been published on the long-term effectiveness and risks of this technique.”   UK NHS 04/04/2015

Surgery to increase penis length

“A study in 2006 found that this procedure led to an average increase of 1.3 cm in penis length. However, only 35% of men who had the operation were happy with the results.” [emphasis added] UK NHS 04/04/2015

Fat transfer or lipofilling to the penis.

It may sound like a good idea to make the penis “fatter” by using fat.

However, the penis is not made of fat, to begin with, and is not designed to store fat.

The reliably and predictably of fat transfer surgery result remains highly variable.

Dermal fillers are a tried and tested method to add volume to the lips, cheekbones and elsewhere on the face, and to areas of the body such as the buttocks.

Dermal filler is widely used in aesthetic medical circles traditionally as a filler for the lips and face. The main attraction of this treatment is there is no surgery involved, and the treatment takes just minutes. There is also no general anaesthetic or sedation required and little to no downtime, except for 14 days without sexual intercourse.

The penis is instantly thicker without waiting for results. By using a reversible filler, patients have the advantage of instant thickening on an out-patient basis.

The results of the thickening treatment typically last between 12 and 24 months (half-life), with less filler needed on repeat treatments.

You can have repeat treatments for more girth whenever you want, with the knowledge that there is little downtime required.

Reversible dermal filler can be dissolved away quickly in the unlikely event there is any problem, through the use of a dissolving enzyme (see video below), at any point following the procedure.

Repeat visits are required, every 1 to 2 years depending on the type of filler used.

Generally, the firmer the filler is the longer it will last, however the more difficult it will be to mould out any irregularities, should this be required before the filler sets.

As some residual filler will remain after 1 – 2 years, the amount of filler required (and cost) is less on subsequent visits.

A typical cost would be about $2,500 for 3 syringes of filler.

The Androfill filler approach involves less risk to the penis and significantly less downtime than traditional fat transfer methods.

Permanent results can mean permanent problems. It may be better to opt for a less invasive, non-permanent and reversible procedure than accept the risk of permanent penis deformity.

All patients considering cosmetic surgery of any kind should make themselves aware of the risks involved.
Patients should make use of all resources available to them including entering a simple search in their internet browser of phrases such as “complications penis surgery”, and make use of forums, such as Phalloboards.
